How to Use Milk and Honey for Face Treatment
Milk and honey have been used in times past to treat the skin. It was popular in ancient Egypt. The Queen Cleopatra of Egypt often used milk and honey for her skin. 1. Milk and Honey for face wash
To start with using milk and honey as a face wash, you have to prepare your face and hair. Wash your face with warm water to blot out the dirt and pat it dry with a towel.
Pull your hair back and protect it in a cap or bonnet, honey can be sticky and when it touches your hair, it can get a bit messy. Now let's begin!
Use a small bowl, you do not have to use a big bowl since you will use a small amount of milk and honey
Pour 1 tablespoon of raw honey and 2 tablespoons of milk. If you have sensitive skin, you should use 2 tablespoons of oat flour, 1 tablespoon of milk and 2 tablespoons of honey. The oat flour will reduce the risk of any skin reaction
Stir the ingredients together vigorously with a fork until the honey is incorporated into the milk, you should get a creamy form
Apply the mixture to your face. Dip your fingers into the mixture and apply to your face in a circular motion. Avoid sensitive areas on your face like the nose, mouth and eyes
You can wash it out immediately or choose to let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes on your face for deep cleaning
Rinse your face with cool water and apply moisturizer
2. Milk and Honey for face mask
Just like you prepared your face and hair for a face scrub, you have to do the same to apply a milk and honey face mask. Follow these steps
Use a small container that is microwave safe
Pour 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of milk in the container, this will be enough for one face mask. Mix the ingredients with a fork until you get a thick consistency.
Heat the mask in the microwave to make it warm. Do not allow it to get too hot
Apply the mask to your face, rub in circular motion
Lay down in bed or get in a comfortable position to allow them ask sit for about 15 to 20 minutes
Wash the mask off with cool water and moisturize

Prepare your face and hair. Follow these steps;
