Tips to Brighten your Skin with Natural Ingredients

You can brighten your skin most efficiently and affordably. This is possible through readily available natural ingredients. The ingredients you use in the kitchen can brighten your skin



Use these tips;

1. Yoghurt and Honey mask

These ingredients can brighten your skin and can moisturize your skin for a luxurious shine. You can use any type of yoghurt for your mask, most yoghurts contain skin brightening vitamin B and vitamin D that strengthens the skin

Procedure

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of plain yoghurt with 1 tablespoon of milk in a small bowl

  • Apply it to your face in a thin layer

  • Let the mask stay on your face for 15-20 minutes

  • Rinse with warm water

  • Repeat this a few times in a week for an effective result


2. Papaya

You can mash up papaya to lighten and exfoliate your skin. Papaya contains enzymes that fight acne.

Procedure

  • Mash papaya into a fine and smooth paste, if the paste is too thick you can add olive or almond oil for a smoother consistency

  • Apply it to your face and let it sit for 20 minutes

  • Then wash off with warm water

  • Repeat this process daily for a few weeks for effective result

3. Cucumber

Cucumber slices can brighten dark circles around your eye. Many skin problems may occur around the eye due to poor sleep or stress. Cucumber can help your skin remain firm while protecting it against inflammation.

Follow these procedures

  • Wash the cucumber

  • Then cut into circular slices

  • Place the cucumber slice on your eyes for 10 minutes

For a more cooling effect, place the cucumber slice in the refrigerator before placing it on your eyes, you should do this in a relaxed position, you can lay on your bed.

4. Water

Our skin cells need water to stay hydrated and refreshed. To increase your skin's brightness, aim to drink at least 6-8 cups of water per day. If you struggle to take that amount of water, you can complement your water intake with water-based fruit and vegetable.

You should consider cutting down on excessive alcohol intake and smoking because they can dehydrate your skin.

5. Antioxidants

Foods that contain antioxidants can combat skin damage and reduce inflammation on your skin. You will find anti-oxidants that can brighten your skin in green tea, tomatoes, berries and green vegetables like broccoli. Increase your intake of iron and zinc. Procedure

  • Mix ground turmeric with water or moisturizer to form a paste

  • Apply the mixture to any dark spot on your skin and leave it for 30 minutes
